What is the XD Dark Ride?
The XD Dark Ride is an interactive movie experience featuring intense motion, stunning 3D graphics and amazing special effects. Up to eight riders at a time compete against each other for the highest score using their laser blasters to battle on-screen enemies. You'll literally feel like you're inside the action!
How long is the ride?
About 10 minutes from the time you enter until the time you leave, including a 2 minute pre-show and a 4 minute ride.
Is there a height restriction on the ride?
Riders must be 40" or taller.
Will the ride be too scary?
We are currently showing three different movies. Los Banditos is set in the Wild West with robot cowboys run amok. This movie is fun for all ages. Road Fighters is for slightly more mature audiences, with vehicle chases and lots of laser blasting. It might be a little scarier for young children. Zombies contains scenes of strong violence involving human-like characters which result in bloodshed, serious injury, and/or death to the depicted characters. Zombies may frighten young children.
Is there anyone who is recommended not to ride?
It is recommended that you do not ride if you have any of the following conditions: epilepsy/seizures, recent surgery or illness, heart conditions, neck, back or bone conditions, pregnancy, high blood pressure or aneurysms, under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Riders are participating at their own risk.
What times are the rides scheduled?
The movies rotate between Los Banditos, Road Fighters and Zombies throughout the day. If there is no line guests can request which movie they'd like to see.
What are the 7D’s?
In addition to the 3D visual effects, riders will be immersed in an environment with wind machines, strobe lights, rapid motion seats, and personal laser blasters!
